Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bannu was set up in 1990 after bifurcation it from the BISE Peshawar. BISE Bannu has the mandate to conduct matric and inter exams of all schools and colleges of this city and other cities like DI Khan, Lakki Marwat, Tank, North and South Waziristan agencies.

Bannu board has also assigned the duties to conduct the inter and matric exams on due time and also issue their respective results at the specific times. The basic aim for the establishment of this board is to convey the education to the far flung areas and improve the situation of illiteracy and unemployment. The board holds the annual and supply exams in fair and transparent atmosphere. We also make the results of this educational board available for the students so that they can get the detailed information regarding results.
